I totally agree with the above post. I own a 2012 4x Tundra and yes unfortunately ride quality suffers when the bed is empty. Was doing the sand bag trick until I could afford a shell. Then found the SUMOs and have been scratching my head ever since. Why haven’t the truck manufacturers of vehicles Toyota Ford etc …. been using these. I have been in the industry for over 20 years and know the rear of these trucks are setup like a baby buggy and have not progressed since the early 1900s ~ WTF? These have been on my truck for the last year and i no longer feel like Im driving a truck. Nice to know I can drive a truck with comfort now. HATS OFF TO SUMOS ~ innovation above the masters

2012 Toyota Tundra

I was hoping to get rid of a little sag and still have a comfortable ride when not pulling our 5th wheel camper. The SumoSprings work great. no sag and my ride with or without the camper is nice and smooth. Highly recommended. Also – I took the truck to a shop to have them installed and it was done in 30 minutes!

I purchased the blue rear sumo springs for my Toyota Tundra to help out with towing a 30-ft toy hauler. Loaded down max weight is 8800 lb. My max truck tow capacity is 9800. Even with a weight distribution hit it’s still squatted down too much. With the sumo springs it tows very smooth. Minimal sag, easy installation. I contacted customer support since there was an error on my part of entering the ZIP code and didn’t look like they shipped to Alaska. I thought that strange since it said international Sumo Springs. Customer service was prompt and assured me they did ship to Alaska. With a discount code my shipping cost was only a few dollars.
